Phillip Taylor: Conductor and Musical Director

Phillip Taylor joined the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra in 1976 as a violist and continued to perform with that orchestra until 1996. He was contract Principal Violist for several years during which he was involved in many recording and solo projects. He was also a guest violist with the Melbourne and Queensland Symphony Orchestras.

The Cleveland Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is composed of people from all ages and walks of life including professional musicians, music teachers, students, retirees and those that enjoy music making as a hobby. It is truly a community based orchestra.

Membership

Membership of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra is open to anyone who enjoys playing orchestral music and who likes to socialize with a very friendly and community minded group of people. Age is no barrier, with people from all walks of life, all types of musical backgrounds, enjoying playing music together.

Cost of membership is extremely reasonable with one player being AUD$50 per year and AUD$5 for Friends Membership.
